At Treehouse, we empower Australian pharmacies to safely order and dispense unregistered cannabis medicines. To do so, pharmacies must possess the necessary TGA and State Health approval letters, along with a valid prescription. Typically, the TGA approval will be a SAS B approval. However, Authorised Prescribers—those who have the authority to prescribe certain product categories without needing individual patient approval—will provide their product or category approval letter along with the valid prescription.
It’s important to note that dispensing medicinal cannabis involves specific conditions and criteria that differ from registered medications.
